Oxidative stress has recently been reported as one of the important mechanisms of toxic effect of Cd2+[43]. The mechanism of Cd2+-induced oxidative stress involves an imbalance between generation and removal of ROS in tissues and cellular components, causing damage to membranes, DNA, and proteins [4

  2024-11-18

IGF-1 signaling has been shown to induce streptozotocin sale changes via interacting with MKK-p38 signaling (Serra et al., 2007) and by perturbing Foxo3a signaling (Stitt et al., 2004), among other mechanisms. The current study demonstrates that the acetyl group itself may be limiting, since IGF-1/A

  2024-11-15

Introduction Arginase deficiency is a rare metabolic disorder resulting from a loss of arginase 1 (ARG1), the final enzyme in the urea cycle, which is the major pathway for the detoxification of ammonia in terrestrial mammals. ARG1 is expressed most prevalently in hepatocytes and red blood cells.

Coincident with APJ receptor, several cell types in the body can synthesize apelin protein. For example, the highest apelin concentrations in the body have been found in the rat central nervous system, pituitary gland, lungs, cardiac muscle, gastrointestinal tract and mammary glands, with lower valu

Results Discussion AP-1, a heterodimeric transcription factor comprising various combinations of FOS, JUN, MAF, ATF, and CREB family proteins, has been known to play a pivotal role in leukocyte development for decades (Liebermann et al., 1998; Valledor et al., 1998). However, its participation

An ALK rearrangement was found in all the analyzable ‘truly positive’ IHC+/FISH+ samples, and the proportion of the various transcripts was in accordance with the literature [[26], [46], [47], [48]]. In these samples, the RNA-seq technique was therefore 100% sensitive and specific. Additional non-ta
